Art has been an essential part of Vicki Anderson's entire life. Vicki is the daughter of Jack and Viletta West of Viletta China Company. From an early age, she was surrounded by artists. She developed and refined her own natural artistic skills. As a teenager, she received strong recognition and achievement awards for her calligraphy, watercolors, china painting, and sculptures.

Utilizing Vicki's sculpting skills and calligraphy, Vicki and her late husband, Ron, began a small business as a means of support for a college education in the 70s. In 1983, the couple launched VickiLane Creative Design in their garage with the Mice Memories and Sweet Thumpins Collectible lines.

Vicki sculps each new design in clay making it a work of art that is unsurpassed in beauty and intricacy with no detail left unfinished. It is then reproduced into hand-painted designs of resin or hydrostone.

From this humble beginning, Vicki expanded into being the nationwide designer, manufacturer, and distributor of the switch plates, drawer pulls and knobs, clocks, home décor and doorbells currently marketed today by VickiLane. With this versatility comes the ability to design for specific customer requirements.
